Issue 1, Volume 1

October  2007

Welcome to Issue #1

Message from
The Owners' Group

We are very happy to present to you the inaugural issue of our own newsletter. While our forum is extremely enjoyable and our conversations are some of the best throughout all watch forums, we feel there is always a little bit of information that shines through all others. This information deserves to have its own spot light from time to time, before it is buried in an archive. Through this newsletter we hope to bring you some of the information you may have missed, beyond the friendly conversations.

This newsletter is an opportunity for you, the membership, to contribute interesting articles, photos, and so on. The newsletter is also an opportunity for our sponsors to gain more exposure, possibly contribute an article featuring their business. For us, it is a conduit to all who participate on the forum, to keep us all well informed. Overall our newsletter is destined to become another great addition to BDWF.

In closing we would like to thank our team of Moderators and Administrators who made this newsletter possible.

Sincerely,
BDWF Owners Group

What is GMT?

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is the time measured on the Earth's zero degree line of longitude, or meridian. This runs from the North Pole to the South Pole, passing through the Old Royal Observatory in the London suburb of Greenwich. This line has been called the Greenwich Meridian since 1884, and it is from here that all terrestrial longitudes are measured and the world's time zones are calculated.
