Default Lupah Defined

Over the years there has always been the question : What exactly is Lupah ? Along with, how does it fit into a watch name ? This burning question was answered today at 5:50 PM, by the semi-technical brand manager from Invicta.

Lupah=Latin for Magnified. Applied to the patented watch design, due to the influence of the chrystel on the readibility of the face ! So Says an Invicta represenative in public and for the record. Mystery solved...debate ended !

Been saying it for years since the Lupah was designed, well before MD became an employee.

I don't and trust me, I will never have the need to come out of the closet to profess anything since I am straight forward and never feel the need to hold back.

The love you may have for Invicta is fine but I hope it is not for the a-holes that sell it cause if it is, go to the geekdom and become a fuzzy bunny with all the other poor souls and be laughed at by the owners

I think "lupah" is a play on the word "loupe".

I am telling you it is a Spanish word that means Magnify and the idiots either mixed it up and said Latin or are ASHAMED to say the origin is Spanish/Portuguese unless they are somehow playing the game that since Eyal is from Latin America he (since he is god) can call it a Latin word.

STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and everyone who believes it is LATIN as in Roman.

The "Technical Brand Manager" wouldn't know a word of Latin if it were shoved down his throat!

I believe Mark is absolutely correct... Lupah is actually Spanish. Of course saying its Latin makes it more lagitimate from Lalo's perspective. Just like saying "Swiss Made".
